The Climate x Health initiative, a collaborative effort led by Wellcome Trust, The Rockefeller Foundation, the Global Climate and Health Alliance, and Amref Health Africa, invites interested organizations to partake in a transformative opportunity.
This initiative aims to fortify joint advocacy, instigate actionable steps, and reinforce accountability concerning the intersection of climate and health in the early months of 2024.

Funding Insights:
In its inaugural year, the program is committed to allocating a select number of small grants, ranging between USD $5,000 and $10,000, to support initiatives falling under these two pivotal categories.
Eligibility Criteria:
This initiative predominantly caters to civil society, non-governmental, and not-for-profit organizations. Nevertheless, it welcomes applications from any organizational background. Applicants may include partners from diverse sectors in their proposals.
Organizations from all corners of the globe are encouraged to apply, with a special emphasis on those from low- and middle-income countries or marginalized groups in high-income nations.
Proposals must demonstrate a robust connection to climate and health concerns, with a focal point on advocacy, communications, or capacity-building.
Each proposal should outline one or more feasible objectives that can be accomplished by May 31, 2024.
Please note: The final selection of grant recipients is projected for January 2024, followed by the allocation of funds. Final reports are expected by June 2024.
Proposals can either support novel endeavors or augment ongoing projects. However, it is imperative that the inclusion of the grant adds discernible value, as articulated clearly within the proposal.
Organizations expressing interest must have at least one representative registered for the Climate x Health forum before the application deadline. Registration can be completed through the “get involved” form on the climatexhealth.org website.
Applicants must possess a valid organizational bank account capable of receiving funds.
